This concert explores the legacy of St Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians, whose feast day falls on November 22nd.

Whilst the works by Britten, Finzi and Handel are more overt celebrations of her legacy, the Dyson and Rheinberger are included to present the height of music written with her commitment to devotion in mind; in particular, her legacy of singing her heart to the Lord (with her being a Roman Catholic).
