INTRODUCINGTHE ROYAL LEAMINGTON SPABACH CHOIR (RLSBC)

The Royal Leamington Spa Bach Choir is recognised as one of Warwickshire's finest amateur choirs, and has a reputation for friendliness as well as musical excellence.

Our current Director of Music, Lee Dunleavy, who joined us in 2020, is the latest in a line of distinguished conductors with whom the choir has worked. Under their leadership, we enjoy singing a diverse and challenging repertoire. Although we are a 'Bach Choir' by name and we love his music, we have also sung most of the big choral masterpieces by other composers, from the seventeenth to the twenty-first century, in addition to many smaller works. We usually have a season of four concerts each year, given in local venues in and around Leamington Spa, as well as more informal events such as 'Come and Sing' workshops, to which all singers are warmly invited.

We pride ourselves on being welcoming and inclusive, and we are always on the lookout for new recruits. We have a well-established core of loyal members, some of whom have been with us for over 30 years, but we also benefit from a regular influx of younger singers who join us for as long as they can, depending on their circumstances.
